Authentication, databases, file uploads, admin dashboards, external integrations and complex workflows may increase the scope and price. Custom business systems also require monthly care, priced separately based on the system's scope and ongoing support needs.

Portals, dashboards, databases, member areas, and more involved automation require discovery and are quoted as custom work.

Troubleshooting, migrations, integrations, domain and DNS help, form issues, and performance work are available at $75 per hour with a one-hour minimum. Larger jobs receive a project quote first.

What counts as a small content edit?+
A small content edit is a reasonable change to existing text, photos, hours, prices, links, staff details or similar content. New pages, new layouts, redesigns and new functionality are quoted separately.
Is there a long-term contract?+
Monthly plans bill in advance and continue until either party cancels with 30 days' written notice, unless your proposal lists a different initial term.
Who owns the website?+
After all one-time project fees are paid, you own the final website design, your content and the delivered site files. Calhoun Web Design retains its pre-existing tools, frameworks and reusable code while licensing them for use in your site.
How are Utility Site and custom projects priced?+
Utility Site projects start at $500 for one core page or workflow, with standard additional pages starting at $150 each. More advanced custom builds are quoted after the required features, integrations, content, security and support needs are defined.
What happens if I cancel a monthly plan?+
Once the account is settled, your site files will be provided. Reasonable migration help is available at the current hourly rate. Domain registration, email, premium tools and other third-party services remain your responsibility unless your proposal says otherwise.
