If the Shoo Fits
A fully custom-built internal resource site for a two-location Chick-fil-A operation, with a playful brand-forward design, password-protected director resources, and a built-in document manager that lets leadership update files and headshots directly from the browser.
- Client
- Two-location Chick-fil-A operation
- Location
- Zephyrhills, Florida
- Project type
- Private internal platform

The challenge
Bring scattered resources into one clear system.
A two-location operation needed a more organized way to share frequently used documents, leadership information, and team resources. The experience had to feel approachable for employees while giving directors a secure, practical way to keep content current without requesting developer updates.
The solution
Custom-built around the way the team actually works.
I designed and developed a custom internal platform from the ground up. The site combines a playful, brand-aware interface with clear information architecture, protected director resources, and browser-based tools for managing documents and headshots.
Key capabilities
- Responsive, mobile-first interface for team members
- Password-protected director resources
- Browser-based document uploads and updates
- Leadership headshot and profile management
- Content organized across two store locations
- Custom visual system designed around the project’s personality
Services provided
- Website strategy
- Custom UI design
- Next.js development
- Protected content
- Document management
The result
The finished platform creates a single, easy-to-navigate home for team information and gives leadership more control over routine content updates. Because the site is an internal business tool, the public case study focuses on the design system, project goals, and capabilities rather than private operational content.
A note about this project
This is a private internal website, so a public live link is not available. The case study intentionally excludes confidential team documents and operational information.
